Discussing the development of your garden

Gardens do not stand still, they are in a state of constant change, both through seasons and through the growth of your plants. Therefore, it is important to review and adjust your plans as a garden develops.

It is good practice to periodically replant borders and to review established areas of a garden. In my regular gardens, I like to make notes during the growing season of areas that do not necessarily work well, or combinations of planting that can be improved. Then, this can formulate the basis for a discussion about winter development of the garden ahead of the coming growing season.

Skilled tasks

Guidance or working together on difficult tasks for example, skilled pruning of a wisteria.

Garden visit

A visit to your garden to assess gardening needs and give advice, guidance, and fresh inspiration.

Designs

I initially draw up concept drawings based on our discussions. These are sketch designs to form the basis of the garden plan. Scaled drawings can follow on from this initial stage.

Maintenance schedules

Guidance on what maintenance is required when for your specific plot.

Arboriculture

I organise professional tree reports for you, guiding you through what action could be taken in the context of your garden. Not just tree safety but tree life-cycle including replanting and tree maintenance.
